How To Setup the Local Intranet Security Level

Step #1: Click on Tools in the top menu bar.
Step #2: Click Internet Options.
Step #3: Click Security tab.
Step #4: Click Local intranet.
Step #5: Click Default level.
Step #6: Click on the slider under Security level for this zone to a desired level.
Step #7: Click OK.

Result: The local intranet security level has been setup.

This action allows you to control your computer's security while on a local intranet by allowing you to increase or decrease the security level.
